  • In 2022, NFTs were the main talking point for conversations on digital art integration, information security, and the collectibles market. For the 2022 TED Talks, the team was looking to bring NFTs out of the cloud and into the material world.
I designed three frames to hold Sony art tvs which would display NFT art throughout the conference. Cycling through a curated gallery of the digital art, attendees were presented the reality of this art, to give context to the discussions.
Each frame was slightly unique, meaning the exhibit could adapt to any space over its lifespan. With any composition of the pieces, the exhibit could expand or contract to feel custom fit to its environment.
The wireframe design of the units added a minimal futurist bent to the look, without taking any focus away from the display. We also did a neat trick where we centred the TV in the middle of the unit, so that it became the ballast needed to keep the piece stable. Allowing us to avoid sandbags or other clunky bases.
In a bustling environment like the TED exhibit floor, fully stocked with displays and interactive lounges, we were able to create a unique space that made the NFTs pop.
